Windows versie. Met deze handleiding kun je je iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G of iPhone 3GS (oude bootrom) jailbreaken op firmware 3.1.2. Bovendien kun je met deze iFoneguide je iPhone 3G of iPhone 3Gs unlocken. Voer een upgrade naar software 3.1.2 uit met iTunes voordat je deze handleiding gebruikt.

Windows version. These are the instructions to jailbreak your iPhone 2G, and jailbreak and unlock your iPhone 3G and 3GS (old bootrom) with the latest baseband on firmware 3.1.2. If you are not on 3.1.2 please perform a clean restore with iTunes to 3.1.2.

Download daar het programma blackra1n.

First off, you need to go to http://www.blackra1n.com/
Download the blackra1n.exe file there.

Sluit je iPhone op je PC aan.
Start het programma blackra1n.exe op en klik op “make it ra1n”. Je iPhone herstart zichzelf automatisch in herstelmodus en zal als de jailbreak is voltooid ook vanzelf opnieuw opstarten.

Make sure your iPhone is connected to your PC.
Next click on the “make it ra1n” button. Your iPhone will enter recovery mode and reboot one time.

Als je iPhone opnieuw is opgestart is kun je het programma blackra1n op je PC sluiten.
Op je iPhone vind je het programma blackra1n, start het op.

After your iPhone is rebooted and working, you can close the popup and blackra1n.
Next go to the blackra1n.app on your iPhone

iPhone 2G: Selecteer in blackra1n op de iPhone de optie “Cydia” en druk op “install”.
iPhone 3G(s): Selecteer in blackra1n op de iPhone de optie “Cydia” en “Snow”. Druk vervolgens op “install”.

iPhone 2G: Select Cydia. Next hit Install.
iPhone 3G(s): Select Cydia and select sn0w if you want to unlock your 3G or 3GS (not for iPhone 2G!). Next hit Install.

Als de iPhone Cydia heeft geïnstalleerd zie je het volgende:

After you’re done you will see:

Op je springboard staat nu een icoontje van Cydia.

Back on your homescreen you will see Cydia.

Start op je iPhone het programma blackra1n nogmaals op en verwijder blackra1n van je iPhone :

Next open blackra1n.app again, and uninstall it:

Herstart je iPhone als blackra1n eenmaal verwijderd is. Je iPhone is nu geünlockt, gejailbreakt en geactiveerd.
Mocht je tethering willen activeren ga dan met Safari op de iPhone naar http://profiles.ifoneguide.nl en download het profiel voor jouw telecom provider.

Reboot your iPhone when your done. It will be fully unlocked, jailbroken, activated and tethering will be available out of the box. Please use http://profiles.ifoneguide.nl to install the correct tethering profile for your device.
